River Watch Home stay is located in Samatar village of South Sikkim. It is on the banks of River Rangeet, the second major river of Sikkim besides Tee sta river. Jorethang is the nearest town which is about 11kms away from the property and can be reached by village road. There is a suspension foot bridge connecting the property to Pipaley, West Sikkim from where Jorethang is only 6 kms. The property is surrounded by lush green teak forest . All rooms and camp site are river facing. Since it is a home stay. there is no menu and guests are served home food. When at the property, guests can enjoy the swimming pool, go fishing in the river or take a walk in the village.
The property can be reached by road from NJP Railway Station(98 kms) and Bagdogra Airport (104 kms). The home stay is located at the center so tourist spots and sight seeing places are within 1 – 1 and half hour drive. Nearest towns and tourist destinations like Darjeeling is about 40 kms, kalimpong 54 kms, Namchi 20 kms, Gangtok 84 kms, Rinchenpong 47 kms, Pelling 56 kms and Ravangla is 47 kms from the home stay.
